Earthquake Rehabilitation Programme

GRISERV's efforts to brigade its spearhead teams that had immediately left to rehabilitate homes, provide medical facilities and health care, distribution of essentials in the hinterlands of Rajkot and Kachchh districts covering 20 villages site that the agency breathes its objective of rural reconstruction every second. Mobilization of food material worth Rs. 11.00 lacs was immediately done by GRISERV Staff in 39 villages. Contribution of Rs. 1.75 lacs was made by GRISERV staff and farmers of village from other part of Gujarat as a social responsibility.

Programme was launched for a period of six months provided Agriculture kits & Agri. equipments, School Kits and dug Bore wells/ Hand pumps to meet the potable water requirements. The challenging task to train Self Help Groups, have provided some of the best results and based on the success of the performance of rural reconstruction.

During the draught period the animals are the only regular income sources for the poor farmers and their sustainability depends upon the milk producing animals & reduce the Migration, BAIF under taken following activates with support of GAA.
