Narmada Rehabilitation Programme

Rehabilitation works in 10 vasahats of Waghodia taluka and 15 in the Naswadi taluka of Baroda district have been undertaken.
As a result 185 acres of land has been developed with the help local Ayojan Samitis. Activities viz. deep plaguing, leveling, opening of drainage lines, bunding and the use of gypsum in the irrigation practices have yielded 37 PAFs. For education awareness, an Adult Education classes are organized in various R&R site of Naswadi & Waghodia with 1577 participants. In R&R site various maintenances work like 9 Electricity Maintenance, 2 road repairing and 7 hand pumps repairing work completed. The benefits to 300 odd families during the year under review.
